Law Libraries; a special provider
Delaware’s County Law Librarians
Starting January 7, 2013 county law librarian began providing Ask a Librarian Delaware service to help with legal/law questions. Their unique presence provides opportunities for Delaware patrons to receive specialized assistance. They will monitor their queue for questions.
If you are a provider and see in-depth legal/law questions, please feel free to tag this “law” and “legal” and refer it to the law librarians.
If you have trouble assigning questions to them, please email the Statewide Coordinator Cathay (firstname.lastname@example.org). Be sure to add the Question ID number.
What you can do to promote this: Share the news!
The law librarians provide a unique and valuable service for Delaware’s patrons, and it’s specialized. Legal questions from Delaware patrons can be referred to the law librarians for follow up. But we want to make sure patrons know. Please tell everyone who would benefit from knowing about this free and excellent service.
When the Law Librarians began providing service, they participated in chat as well. You can see some history of this through the “Delaware Docket” (a judiciary publication) when they announced the law libraries’ partnership with Ask a Librarian Delaware, too. Click here for the article.
